We were very pleased with the quality and variety of the entries and invite all of our entrants back for DOW 2009.

Our next contest is the spring “Three Cheers and a Tiger” – write a mystery in a weekend. Theme and word limit will be announced March 20 at 5 p.m. EST on our main board; contest closes at 5 p.m. EST March 22. Our ninth annual “Dead of Winter” short fiction contest opens November 1st with theme and word count limit announced on our main board.

This is a reminder to read the Submission Guidelines prior to submitting.
In particular:
* submissions must be sent to SUBMIT@toasted-cheese.com not to any other address;
and
* submissions must include the word SUBMISSION in the subject line.
These two steps are necessary so that ALL of the editors receive your submission and so that your submission does not get lost (mistaken for spam).
Submissions that do not follow the guidelines are not read.
