The theme of the September 2008 "Three Cheers and a Tiger" contest is "Origins" and should include both science fiction and fantasy story elements. The word limit is 1492 words.
So, between now and 5pm Eastern US time on Sunday September 21, 2008, write a science fiction *and* fantasy story about "origins" in 1492 words or less and submit it according to the rules, which you can find here.
